Conference & Event Hall
Four hundred square metres cut into the hillside, a stage window that frames the Remarkables, and a technician who stays in the room all day instead of vanishing after the sound check. From NZ$1,200 a day, catering from our own kitchen.
Four configurations, one room
180 guests
Conferences and keynotes. Full AV, confidence monitors, lectern with its own lamp because speakers are nervous creatures.
90 guests
Round tables of ten, dance floor in front of the stage, and a kitchen that's 40 metres — not a courier run — away.
40 guests
One long table, leather chairs, and the quietest HVAC in the building. The annual strategy session room.
220 guests
Standing format for launches and reunions. Bar at both ends so nobody forms a queue with opinions.
Three steps, one phone number
01 — Enquire
Tell Priya's team the date and the headcount. You'll get a floor plan and a firm quote the same day — not a brochure and a prayer.
02 — Plan
AV run-sheet, menu tasting, room flip schedule. One document, one contact, zero surprises on the day.
03 — Host
The technician stays in the room all day. If a microphone dies mid-keynote, it's back in ninety seconds.
The kit, maintained by the man who installed it
Stage & projection
5-metre screen, dual laser projectors, confidence monitors and a lectern mic that has never squealed. We checked the logs.
SOUND
Line-array speakers tuned to the room's acoustics. Speech is intelligible in the back row — we test it there, not at the mixing desk.
Lighting
Stage wash, uplighting in your brand colour if you ask nicely, and blackout curtains for the presentations that need them.
Hybrid streaming
Fibre-backed 500 Mbps, dedicated streaming laptop feed and a camera position that doesn't film the exit sign.
Forty metres from kitchen to stage
Our own kitchen does the catering — Tane's team builds menus around what's in season within 50 km, handles every dietary requirement on the list, and plates 90 covers without a single cold plate. We know because we count.
"Conference food has a bad reputation because most of it travels. Ours walks over from the kitchen — you can taste the difference and the lack of plastic."
The hall, measured
Book the hall with 10+ rooms for two nights or more and the meeting rooms upstairs come free — one contract, one invoice.
The organizer and the retreat leader
"Three annual summits here. The AV has never failed, the dietary list has never been missed, and Priya answers her own phone — I didn't know venues still did that."

"We moved our alpine retreat here three winters ago and nobody has suggested anywhere else since. Sixty guests, sole use, and the stage window during the closing talk — you can't stage-manage that."
